Kathryn Hawkes got her real estate license during the summer of 1985 and began selling for Richard James in Totem Lake- Kirkland. She was the Rookie of the Year in 1986. After obtaining her Managing Broker license in 1989, she moved to Windermere Yarrow Bay- Kirkland. During 1990 and 1991, Kath lived in Oregon where she had the opportunity to work as an escrow agent for a title company which gave her valuable experience in reading and understanding title and escrow documents. Today, she uses these skills to help her clients navigate through their sometime-complex real estate transactions. Moving back to the Puget Sound, Kathryn went back to her roots on the Eastside. After working on the Eastside for 11 years, Kath moved to the Realty One Group Preview (formerly Preview Properties) office in Marysville and added Snohomish County to her sales area. Kathryn offers both an outstanding level of real estate knowledge and exception level of professionalism. Following her drive for improvement, she has also secured her GRI (Graduate REALTOR® Institute) and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designations. She has participated in a range of real estate transactions including first-time home purchases, move up homes, downsizing, condos, vacation homes, and investment properties.
Today’s real estate market requires an agent with dedication, experience, and professionalism. Kath is devoted to service with an emphasis on accountability, reliability, and enthusiasm. Especially during shifting market cycles, Kath provides her clients all the information they will need to help them make informed real estate investment decisions.
Real Estate is constantly changing. Interest rates sometimes change multiple times during the day, lending guide lines change, and new laws affect real estate transactions. With 25+ years in the business, she may not have all the answers, but she knows where to find them. Your vision combined with her expertise and team of professionals will get the job done!
When not selling real estate, she enjoys spending time with her husband and visiting her boys at UW. During the summer, she spends as much time as possible boating on Lake Roesiger. She also likes to read, bead, and make digital scrapbooks.
